Giant Tiger Pricing
Giant Tiger is dedicated to delivering Canadians low prices, always. They offer a variety of products including family fashion and accessories, groceries, home essentials, outdoor living and more at everyday low prices.
Their online pricing policy states that online offers and pricing may differ from in-store offers and pricing. Items marked as “clearance” online may not be on clearance in store. In-store stock availability and pricing may vary by store.
They also offer a GT VIP® account which is totally free. There is no charge to create or use this account.
For shipping, you will see an estimated delivery date (or range of dates) during the checkout process. Please note that Giant Tiger is not responsible and cannot be held liable for delivery delays that may occur as a result of poor weather conditions, holiday peak seasons.
Payment Method
Giant Tiger accepts various payment methods. For In-Store Purchases, cash, debit, VISA, MasterCard, and Giant Tiger gift cards are accepted.
For Online Orders, MasterCard, VISA or VISA debit, American Express, Discover, Diners Club, Apple Pay, and Shop Pay are accepted, provided the card was issued in Canada or the U.S. At this time, Giant Tiger gift cards cannot be used for online orders.
During checkout, the telephone number associated with the credit card account (billing phone number) will be required.
If paying by credit card, a pre-authorization of the purchase will be made while the order is being processed to ensure there are sufficient funds. This will appear as a hold on the financial institution’s account. The payment will be captured in its entirety once the first order has been shipped or picked up in store.
Note: Using VISA Debit does not pre-authorize the amount, but rather removes the funds at the time of order. All charges on the billing statement will appear as GIANTTIGER.COM.

How To Open A Giant Tiger Account?
To open an account on Giant Tiger, follow these steps:
- Visit the Giant Tiger website.
- Select the Account icon in the top right corner.
- Click on Create Account or Sign Up.
- Fill in the required fields such as email, password, name, and address.
- Click on Create Account or Sign Up to complete the process.
Once the account is created, preferences can be updated through the online account. Note: Updating the information here will also update your GT VIP® account.
For signing up for the GT VIP® program, there are two ways: Sign up online or text GTVIP to TIGER 84437 (standard message and data rates may apply).
Giant Tiger Return Policy?
Giant Tiger has a Satisfaction Guaranteed policy. If not satisfied, your money is cheerfully refunded - No Time Limit! This applies with the presentation of Sales Receipt or Online Order Confirmation. However, all tobacco, lottery, undergarments, disposable and reusable masks, and gift cards are final sales.
For In-Store Purchases, return the item in its original packaging to the store, with your receipt. If you do not have your receipt, the store would issue an in-store gift card for the product’s current value. The in-store gift card can only be used at the issuing store location. No-receipt returns will require customer identification.
Online Purchases can be returned to the store or via the online warehouse. For returns to the store, present your confirmation email or the packing slip that came with the shipped item(s). If these are not available, you will be offered a merchandise credit in the form of an in-store gift card. Note: Oversized items (in excess of 45kg) purchased on GiantTiger.com cannot be returned to the store.
For returns to the warehouse, contact the Customer Service team and provide your order number; the item(s) you wish to return; and reason why you are returning. A prepaid shipping label will be provided for you to return the item to the warehouse. Your refund will be processed within 7-10 business days of arrival at the warehouse. Your refund will include the paid price (price minus discounts) of the item, shipping costs, plus any applicable sales tax. When shipping a return, include the original or copy of the packing list. Be sure to save copies for your records.
Unfortunately, exchanges for online purchases are not offered at this time. For products purchased in-store, exchanges are based on availability of product.
